to be worth all the respect that i've given

you're worth all of the faith and trust around

that is still there in our world of cynicism

 

i didn't believe in miracles til i found you

then the blessings never seemed to have an end

i didn't realize that do-good ways pay off

then you showed me that you're more than just my friend

you're my reward

 

you're more than you know and i hope through everything

you may come to know the grace of your own soul

you're the water flow to ease the inner thirst you bring

you're my new amazing half that makes me whole

 

if we'd always known

look how much we both have grown

our past has made us strong
