by:  Joe Mangini

as she drowns facedown in a drop of pain
darkness pours down the November rain
her mind's a puddle of muddy water
where she’s trapped and she can’t escape, why even bother

she will regret her next decision
she's lost her sense of inner vision
her life ends more with every breath
November Rain as cause of death

she cuts herself deep, opens up her skin
but what's inside she can’t find when she tries looking in
trusting her own blurred reflection
to bear the face that's not who she is, far from perfection

endless pain, November Rain
scattering pieces of your shattered brain
you fight frustration
with a slight hesitation
too late to fold this hand you played
it's time to sharpen up the blade

she will regret her next decision
she's lost her sense of inner vision
her life ends more with every breath
November Rain as cause of death

*this song is to a slow 6/8 beat like the sound of a slow metallica song, sung in a key that only Chris Cornell from Soundgarden could hit...there's also the tone of that staring down the barrel of a 45 song...actually the verses all sound like that song...at least the newer version of it that i hear in my head, and before & after the verse/chorus i hear this slow guns 'n' roses chord riff of Em D C and a rich, filling vocal harmony in with those chords, the chorus sounds like soundgarden, but the overall effect ties together rather nicely*
